App and extension data
The app and extension do not collect, store, sell, or share personal information with the developer. They have no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting service, or developer-operated backend.
Map links and browsing information
The Safari extension examines eligible page URLs locally on your device to determine whether a destination can be interpreted with high confidence. Map links, addresses, coordinates, and browsing history are not uploaded to or saved by the developer. When a supported destination is opened in Apple Maps, the destination query is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Device access
MapLink for Safari does not read your clipboard, request your location, access contacts, photos, microphone, or camera, or create a persistent history of destinations.
Safari website access
The extension requests website access only for google.com, www.google.com, and maps.google.com. That access is used solely for on-device link handling. You can disable the extension or revoke website access at any time in Safari settings.
Third-party services
When you use Safari, Google Maps, or Apple Maps, those services operate under their own privacy policies. Opening a supported destination sends the destination query to Apple Maps through the normal system URL. MapLink for Safari and its developer do not receive data back from those services after the destination opens.
This website
This static support website does not use cookies, forms, or analytics and does not include a tracking script. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and security or delivery logs, as an infrastructure provider. Cloudflare’s handling of that information is described in its Privacy Policy.
Support email
If you choose to email support, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. Gmail processes the email on our behalf. We use it only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the reported issue. Please do not send private addresses or other sensitive information.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
The app and extension do not retain user data, so there is no app data to delete. You can stop all extension access at any time by disabling MapLink for Safari or revoking its website permissions in Safari settings. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, then deleted. You may ask us to delete a support conversation by emailing gh111133@gmail.com, unless retention is required by law.
Children’s privacy
Because the app does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed version is released. The effective date above will also be revised.
